Insurance telematics and black box project enquiries

Planning a vehicle telematics or black box programme? NodeTrack welcomes enquiries from insurers, brokers and fleet risk teams about tracking hardware, deployment and customer-specific requirements.

Monday–Saturday, 9am–6pm. Closed Sunday.

Start with the insurance use case

Tell us the intended vehicle population, programme size and what decisions the data needs to support. Location, journey records and supported driving-event data can form part of a proposed solution, subject to a device and service assessment.

Choose a deployment method

Discuss self-install OBD, two-wire and professionally fitted options. Device selection should consider removal risk, power, reporting intervals, vehicle compatibility and the requirements of the insurance programme.

Agree the complete service

Hardware alone is not an insurance telematics programme. Driver scoring, insurer data feeds, claims workflows, service levels and any integrations must be specified, assessed and agreed; they are not included as standard NodeTrack tracking features.

Pilot before a wider rollout

A project should validate data quality, installation, event interpretation and support processes on representative vehicles before wider use. We can discuss a proposed pilot, with scope and commercial terms agreed in advance.

Approval and customer information

NodeTrack does not claim blanket insurer approval or automatic premium discounts. Acceptance is a decision for the insurer. Agree clear customer information, access and data-handling arrangements as part of the programme.

Customisation for your operation

We can customise a solution to your requirements, subject to a minimum order quantity and an agreed specification. Tell us your vehicle or asset count, reporting needs and preferred installation method. Feasibility, minimum quantity, price and lead time are confirmed in your quote.

UK-wide supply and fitting enquiries

NodeTrack serves customers across the UK, with self-install options and nationwide mobile fitting by arrangement. Send your postcode and vehicle details to confirm compatibility, appointment availability and any travel charges. Tracking updates depend on device power, mobile connectivity and satellite reception.

Common questions

Is NodeTrack already an approved insurance black box?

No blanket approval is claimed. An insurer must assess and accept the exact hardware and complete service for its programme.

Can you customise a solution for an insurer?

Yes, subject to a minimum order quantity, technical assessment and an agreed specification. Send the programme size and requirements for discussion.

Does a tracker automatically reduce insurance premiums?

No. Eligibility and pricing are determined by the insurer and the policy terms.
