Self-install OBD GPS trackers
Choose a self-install OBD tracker for a compatible vehicle and start with a simple plug-in installation. NodeTrack supplies tracking options for personal vehicles, work fleets, hire companies and loan-car operators.
Monday–Saturday, 9am–6pm. Closed Sunday.
A plug-in installation
The tracker connects to a compatible vehicle diagnostic socket. Confirm the vehicle and device suitability before ordering, and follow the supplied installation and activation instructions. The socket position must allow secure fitting without interfering with vehicle controls.
Tracking in your NodeTrack account
Once configured and activated, a supported device can report vehicle location for your account. Journey history and available alerts depend on the model, configuration, power and mobile signal.
Consider how the vehicle is used
An accessible OBD device is easier to remove than a concealed installation. Discuss unplugging behaviour and power-loss alerts for the selected model, especially for vehicles used by several drivers or customers.
Tracking versus diagnostic information
An OBD connection does not mean every vehicle exposes fuel level, odometer or fault data. Additional readings are vehicle- and device-dependent and must be confirmed separately.
Customisation for your operation
We can customise a solution to your requirements, subject to a minimum order quantity and an agreed specification. Tell us your vehicle or asset count, reporting needs and preferred installation method. Feasibility, minimum quantity, price and lead time are confirmed in your quote.
UK-wide supply and fitting enquiries
NodeTrack serves customers across the UK, with self-install options and nationwide mobile fitting by arrangement. Send your postcode and vehicle details to confirm compatibility, appointment availability and any travel charges. Tracking updates depend on device power, mobile connectivity and satellite reception.

Common questions
Is self-install tracking subscription-free?
No. Tracking requires an active service subscription. We confirm the hardware price and ongoing charges before purchase.
Can I move it to another vehicle?
Contact us first to confirm compatibility and the account reassignment process so journey records stay associated with the correct vehicle.
Is an OBD tracker an insurer-approved black box?
Not automatically. Insurer acceptance depends on the exact device and complete service agreed with that insurer.
